Have you heard the saying, “It’s all in the details”? Well, at AinslieWear we agree. Take a peek below to discover the dazzling details that make our leotards stand out.
Piping: The 179PP Alicia and 1009PP Dakota use a design technique called piping. The subtle white piping offers beautiful contrast and is reminiscent of the piping technique used in baking to exquisitely decorate cakes!
Taping: The 1023ME Ellie and the 151ME Margot use the taping technique, which much like piping introduces contrast and more texture. Taping is more structured than piping and gives a tasteful yet bold feel.
Clasps: The 1021SW/1021BT Kristy is simple in the front with spaghetti straps and a pinch, yet has an eye-catching detail in the back. The delicate clasp puts a new twist on this classic style, which received rave reviews from our teen focus groups. The 135KL Nina and 147ME Eve also have lovely clasp detailing. The clasps are metal instead of plastic and have an antique-inspired look. Ainslie immediately fell in love with their unique vintage flair and they have been described as a pop of “eye candy” on our leotards.
Pleating: Have you seen the 1011ME Blaze? What gorgeous sleeves! The pleating technique is actually difficult to achieve – the Blaze is a time consuming style for our sewing team! However, it’s so worth it, with its edgy look and soft feel.
Hope you’re having a terrific summer! And remember – it’s the details that create the big picture!
